The Texas Democratic County Chair Association (TDCCA) was organized to provide a unified support mechanism to all Democratic County chairs. Originally intended as a caucus to present a united front of county chairs in state party business, it has expanded its mission to include training and resources for county chairs across Texas utilizing the most efficient and effective means to do so.
In addition, TDCCA has programs in place to help counties recruit chairs and volunteers. And as a natural extension of that, the organization is working to keep current county chairs engaged and enthusiastic, seeking to keep more continuity moving forward by retaining chairs.
The TDCCA board meets through online sessions twice a month and also meets in person the day before every Senate District Executive Committee meeting, which many board members serve on.
The TDCCA has several standing committees: Outreach, Ways and Means, Bylaws and Procedure, Technology, Training, and Special Events.
